YungBlud’s Triumphant Return at Scala, Kings Cross

A New Era, A New Sound, and a Night to Remember

With just two days’ notice, YungBlud announced an intimate, free-entry show on the 21/03/25 at Scala, Kings Cross, sending his fanbase into a frenzy. Those lucky enough to secure tickets knew they were in for something special, but few could have anticipated just how electrifying this night would be.

As the lights dimmed and the new band took the stage, the roar from the crowd was deafening. Then, like a bolt of lightning, YungBlud himself burst onto the stage, screaming, “It’s fucking good to be back!” before diving straight into his brand-new single, Hello Heaven, Hello. The track, an ambitious nine-minute epic, kept fans locked in from start to finish, with Adam Warrington delivering a blistering guitar solo that left jaws on the floor.

The energy never faltered. Barely catching his breath, YungBlud asked the crowd if they were ready for more, and judging by the response, they certainly were. Next up was Lovesick Lullaby, a track that had the entire room bouncing. It was swiftly followed by Zombie, a riotous anthem that blurred the line between performer and audience, making everyone feel like part of the band.

Though the original plan was to play just three tracks, the night had an undeniable magic to it. YungBlud, feeding off the euphoric energy in the room, made a last-minute decision. “Can we do one more?” he asked, before requesting fans to put away their phones and live in the moment for Ghost, a deeply personal track. As the band eased into its opening riff, he introduced his new lineup: Sam Simmonds on rhythm guitar, Adam Warrington on lead guitar, Ben Sharp on drums, Silke Blansjaar on bass, and, of course, Dominic Harrison on vocals.

If there was ever a moment that solidified YungBlud’s return as a defining one, it was this. The influence of The Rolling Stones and classic British rock echoed through the new material, blending nostalgia with raw, modern energy. Some might even say he’s carving out his place as the modern-day Mick Jagger—wild, untamed, and utterly electrifying.

Final Verdict: 5/5

This wasn’t just a gig; it was a moment in history. The atmosphere was untouchable, the energy relentless, and the new sound? A bold, thrilling step forward. YungBlud has stamped his name and new era onto British rock culture, proving that rock and roll will never die.
